I am a native of Willimantic, Connecticut, a New England mill town known as “Thread City,” once home of the American Thread Company.  I graduated from the University of Connecticut in nearby Storrs with a B.S. in Clothing & Textiles.  Later, I earned an M.B.A. in Marketing at New York University.

My work experience includes consumer education with Cornell Cooperative Extension and major retail banks.   I worked as an editor for emerging internet companies and publishers.

I have been a full time studio quilter since 2006.  I currently reside in Tarrytown, NY.
